In 2023, RENU Labs entered a joint venture with Mesh++ Uganda to establish RENUMESH Technologies. This venture focuses on local manufacturing and distribution of solar-powered Internet routers, delivering sustainable, reliable connectivity solutions for education, research, and underserved communities.

In 2025, RENU Labs partnered with RENU to establish RENU Financial Services, a specialised unit providing secure, reliable, and modern digital payment services tailored for universities, research institutions, and education ecosystems across Uganda. It aims to streamline financial operations, enhance transparency, and empower institutions through seamless system integration.
